This policy applies to the Dach (m²) app for iPhone and iPad (Apple App Store).
The website hamme.software has its own privacy policy.
Dach (m²) is a pure calculation tool. The measurements you enter and the calculated areas are processed and stored exclusively on your device.
- No account, no registration — the app works without you providing any data.
- No transmission to us — we do not collect, store or receive any personal data through the app.
- No tracking, no analytics, no ads, no external connections.
Downloads and updates are handled by the Apple App Store. In doing so, Apple processes data (e.g. device information and, if you have opted in via your iOS settings, anonymised crash and diagnostics data) under its own responsibility. For details, see Apple's privacy policy.
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Since we do not store any personal data about you through the app, there is usually nothing we could disclose — an informal email to hi@hamme.software is welcome at any time nonetheless.
Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hanover, Germany, lfd.niedersachsen.de.
We will update this policy when the app or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available at hamme.software/en/apps/dach/privacy. The German version at hamme.software/apps/dach/datenschutz is authoritative; in case of discrepancies it prevails.
